March 26 my freind Steve Slack told me about this nest at the Sepulveda Basin Near Los Angeles California, I have become attached and very protective of this nest.

On April 16th easter Sunday the chicks fledged (leaving the nest), it was a bitter sweet moment when I arrived at the empty nest, all I have to say is, Thank You Lord for letting me experience one of your miracles of nature, what an awesome experience this has been.

My little characters are gone, they will be sorely missed.
